The SEFS International Undergraduate scholarship in Ireland is now accepting applications from students who meet the requirements. This opportunity is being made public by University College Cork.

Requirements for University College Cork Bachelors Qualification

At University College Cork, candidates for the scholarship must be enrolled in either an undergraduate/level 8 program (their last year) or a postgraduate program. They may be studying any subject.

The children who were chosen will be given the title of Putnam Scholar for the duration of one school year.

During the academic year, the Puttnam Scholars will collaborate on a group project and be expected to participate in a series of six video conference mentorship and coaching sessions with Lord Puttnam. These sessions will take place by video conference.

Puttnam Scholars will collaborate on the production of a short film, which will be shown as part of a presentation to Lord Puttnam and other invited visitors after the academic year.

Students who are granted a Puttnam Scholarship will be allowed to earn a monetary prize of €1,000 upon completion of the short film, which will take place throughout the academic year.

Students who withdraw from, postpone, or repeat their studies owing to sickness, bereavement, or other extraordinary circumstances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
